Double Deck Oven

Double Deck Oven

Our Commercial Double Deck Baking Oven is engineered for high-volume bakery and pastry operations that demand maximum output without sacrificing quality. Featuring two fully independent baking chambers stacked vertically, this oven effectively doubles your production capacity while occupying the same floor footprint as a single deck oven. Each chamber operates with its own thermostat, timer, and top/bottom heating element controls, enabling bakers to simultaneously bake different products at different temperatures in each deck.

The double deck configuration is the industry standard for mid-to-large bakeries, hotel pastry kitchens, patisseries, and catering kitchens where continuous, high-volume baking is essential. The ability to run both decks independently means one chamber can be set for delicate French pastries while the other simultaneously bakes crusty artisan bread — a level of operational flexibility that significantly enhances kitchen productivity. The stainless steel exterior, double-glazed glass doors, and internal lighting in each chamber reflect the premium build quality of our equipment.

All models are built with high-density rock wool insulation between the chamber walls and the outer body, ensuring minimal heat loss, faster pre-heat times, and lower energy consumption per baking cycle. Steam injection ports are available as an optional feature for each deck, allowing professional bakers to achieve the glossy, crackled crusts characteristic of European-style breads. Our double deck ovens are supplied with a set of baking trays and a manufacturer warranty, making them a complete ready-to-use investment for growing bakery businesses.

How It's Made

Our Manufacturing Process

1
Double Chamber Frame Build

Two separate baking chamber enclosures are fabricated from heavy-gauge MS and SS sheets, each insulated with high-density rock wool. The chambers are assembled into a single unified outer casing for structural integrity.

2
Independent Heating Systems

Each baking deck is fitted with its own set of top and bottom tubular heating elements. The element circuits are completely independent, allowing each deck to maintain a different operating temperature simultaneously.

3
Dual Control Panel Wiring

A dual-zone control panel with separate thermostats, timers, and power switches for each deck is wired and installed on the front face. All internal wiring is routed through heat-resistant conduits and tested for electrical safety compliance.

4
Calibration & QC Testing

Both decks are fired simultaneously and temperature readings are verified against calibrated thermometers. Timer accuracy, door seals, glass integrity, and element performance are all checked before the unit is cleared for dispatch.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Both decks in our double deck oven are fully independent. Each deck has its own thermostat, timer, and top/bottom heating element switches on a separate control panel section. You can run the upper deck at 200°C for bread while the lower deck simultaneously operates at 160°C for delicate pastries — or run just one deck when production demand is lower, saving energy.
Each deck accommodates 2 to 4 standard baking trays (600mm x 400mm), giving a total capacity of 4 to 8 trays across both decks simultaneously. This makes the double deck oven ideal for medium to high-volume production where continuous output is needed throughout the day.
Yes, steam injection is available as an optional feature on both decks. The steam system introduces a controlled burst of moisture into the baking chamber at the start of the baking cycle, which is essential for achieving the glossy, crackled crust on artisan breads, baguettes, and sourdough loaves. Each deck's steam injection can be triggered independently.
Our standard double deck electric oven requires a 3-phase, 415V, 50Hz power supply with a total connected load of 12–16 kW depending on the model size. A dedicated circuit breaker and earthing are mandatory for safe operation. Gas-fired double deck models are also available for establishments with 3-phase power constraints, requiring LPG or PNG supply at adequate pressure.
We provide a 12-month manufacturer warranty on all double deck ovens covering defects in materials, fabrication, and electrical components. Heating elements carry a 6-month warranty. Our service team is available for on-site warranty repairs across Chennai and Tamil Nadu. AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) packages are also available for extended coverage and priority service.
