Bulk Fryer

Bulk Fryer

Our Heavy-Duty Commercial Bulk Fryer is engineered for high-volume deep frying operations in catering units, fast food outlets, industrial kitchens, hospital canteens, and large-scale food processing environments. Built to handle continuous heavy-duty use, this fryer features a large-capacity stainless steel oil tank, a powerful commercial-grade gas burner, and a wide mesh basket that can process large quantities of food in a single frying cycle — dramatically increasing throughput and reducing production time during peak service hours.

The fryer body and oil tank are fabricated from food-grade SS 304 stainless steel, ensuring complete hygiene compliance and resistance to the corrosive effects of hot cooking oil. A robust bottom-mounted drainage valve allows for safe, convenient oil draining and replacement without the need to tilt or move the unit. The oil tank is designed with a cool zone at the bottom, beneath the heat exchanger, which allows food debris to settle away from the active frying zone — significantly extending oil life and maintaining food quality across large production batches.

Designed for versatility, this bulk fryer is ideal for frying French fries, potato chips, pakoras, fried chicken, fish fillets, samosas, murukku, and a wide range of snack items. The powerful burner ensures rapid oil recovery after each batch is loaded, maintaining consistent frying temperatures across successive batches and eliminating the quality degradation caused by temperature drop in underpowered fryers. Whether you are running a fast food chain, a large school canteen, or an industrial snack manufacturing unit, our bulk fryer delivers the performance and reliability your operation demands.

How It's Made

Our Manufacturing Process

1
SS Tank & Body Fabrication

The oil tank and outer body are cut and TIG-welded from heavy-gauge SS 304 steel sheets. Tank joints are seam-welded and tested for oil-tight integrity. The outer body is reinforced with structural ribs for stability under full oil load.

2
Burner & Heat Exchanger Fitting

A high-BTU commercial gas burner and SS heat exchanger tubes are fitted beneath and within the tank. The heat exchanger design maximizes heat transfer to the oil while maintaining a debris-settling cool zone at the tank bottom.

3
Safety Valve & Drain Assembly

A heavy-duty oil drain valve is fitted at the base of the tank for safe oil removal. Gas safety valves with pilot flame failure protection and a thermostat for temperature control are installed and tested for reliable, safe operation.

4
Oil Capacity Test & QC

The fryer is filled to capacity with water and inspected for leaks at all welds and valve joints. After passing the water test, the unit is dried, gas-fired, and run through a full heating cycle to verify burner output, thermostat accuracy, and drain valve functionality before dispatch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our bulk fryers are available in oil tank capacities ranging from 15 litres to 50 litres, depending on the model. The most commonly chosen models for commercial kitchens are 25-litre and 35-litre tanks. Custom tank capacities can be fabricated for industrial food processing operations that require higher volume. Please specify your required capacity at the time of enquiry.
Our bulk fryers are primarily gas-fired, designed for LPG or PNG supply. Gas heating is preferred for bulk frying as it provides much faster oil heat recovery between batches compared to electric heating, which is critical in high-volume continuous frying operations. Electric bulk fryer models are also available for establishments where gas supply is not available or practical.
The fryer is equipped with a heavy-duty bottom drain valve. To drain oil, turn off the burner and allow the oil to cool to a safe handling temperature. Place a collection container beneath the drain outlet, then open the drain valve to release the oil. The tank interior can then be wiped clean with a food-safe degreaser. After cleaning, close the drain valve, refill with fresh oil, and the fryer is ready for use.
Temperature control is achieved through an adjustable gas valve that regulates flame intensity, and an oil thermostat (available on select models) that automatically cuts back the flame when the set temperature is reached. Operating temperature range is typically 150°C to 220°C. For precise temperature control in food service applications, we recommend models fitted with a dial thermostat and a temperature gauge for real-time monitoring.
Our bulk fryers incorporate several key safety features: a pilot flame failure safety valve that automatically cuts off gas supply if the flame extinguishes; a high-temperature limit thermostat that prevents oil overheating and smoke point exceedance; a cool-zone tank design that prevents food debris from burning and contaminating the oil; and a securely latched basket handle to prevent accidental tipping. All gas connections are pressure-tested before dispatch.
